Dirk Diggler visits Anton Kubikov's Tech-wise at Ohotny Ryad

Andreas Mugge, better known as Dirk Diggler, entered the world of music as a child - by the age of twelve, he was playing drums in his father's jazz band.
Over time, realizing that playing in the band wasn't his cup of tea, Andreas bought MIDI equipment and started creating his own music. This brought him much more satisfaction than scheduled band concerts.
In 1998, he released his first record on the Raum...musik label (Frankfurt, Germany). The title track of this release ranked high in many charts. Since then, D.Diggler has been appearing more frequently in the playlists of Sven Vaeth, Monika Kruse, and other famous DJs.
Dirk Diggler's style can be somewhat compared to Modernist or Kompakt label releases (Cologne, Germany). Many tracks also incorporate elements of dub. At the same time, Andreas puts something into his tracks that makes them absolutely unique - sometimes it seems like there's a bit more euphoria in them. This makes them irresistibly danceable - and an excellent choice to enliven the dance floor!
Andreas's DJ sets sound much tougher than his own tracks. He is a fan of a cocktail of delicate melodic minimal, house with a touch of Tribal, and, of course, with the absolutely necessary highlight - pounding techno tracks.
