A time-tested omen suggests: how you meet the New Year is how you will spend it. Zeppelin invites you to celebrate New Year's Eve in the most positive and joyful style. Music for incorrigible optimists, fresh, bright, and uncompromising to sadness.
The main club Christmas tree of the capital will take place in the historical center of Moscow, in the mansion of Pierre Smirnov, whose halls remember the magnificence and luxury of balls from the past.
The New Year's Eve in disco style will take place in an unparalleled setting created by ancient interiors and modern decorations, which will allow you to feel the mood of this wonderful holiday. Glitter, stars, beautiful faces, neon lights, champagne, a riot of color, emotions, and sounds... For you, promoters have devised a special program for the New Year’s Eve, with fireworks, a fire show, a multitude of surprises, and much more to keep you entertained.
The musical part will be managed by the unparalleled specialist in club ballroom dancing and creating a festive mood, American guest Jorge Jaramillo.
American guest Jorge Jaramillo is the nephew of Harry "Choo Choo" Romero and colleague Alex Alicea from the group Who Da Funk. Jorge became known in the early 90s, working with DJ Magic Mike, with whom he recorded the albums “Vicious Bass”, “Back to Haunt You”, “DJ Magic Mike & the Royal Posse” in the Jungle/Miami Bass style. Becoming a part of Who Da Funk, the maestro seamlessly blended completely different styles: industrial rock and house, guitar riffs with disco, the aesthetics of David Bowie with the uncomplicated harmonies of Arabesque.
Together with Alex Alicea, Jaramillo created a new style, uniting all his musical preferences, and this “rock-house” became a new direction in dance music. Their very first single “Shiny Disco Balls” became multi-platinum, reached Russia, and won the hearts of clubbers, becoming one of the most popular tracks in the history of dance music. For Jaramillo, “Disco Balls” were just a stepping stone on the path of creative achievements; his solo tracks Pushing My Brain, House Music Pneumonia are loved by millions of clubbers on dancefloors around the globe.
His partner at the DJ booth will be one of the most popular DJs in Russia, a distinguished figure in the club movement, the Best House DJ in Russia in 2003 according to DJ Culture magazine - DJ Grad. Throughout the festive night, the dance floors will feature beloved residents of the Zeppelin club: Ivan Rudy, one of the most recognized and sought-after DJs in Russia, a resident of the legendary Zeppelin club since its very first days, Katrin Vesna, Quazar, and Pasha Portnov. Happy dance year! Wishing you a dancing New Year!
The event will take place on December 31, 2005, in the mansion of Pierre Smirnov, located at Tverskoy Boulevard, 18, starting at 23:00.
