Disko Boys from the city of Hamburg, Raphael Krickow and Gordon Hollenga, have many years of experience as DJs. Raphael's DJ career began in 1986 in Frankfurt, while Gordon worked in northern Germany at the time. Both DJs worked in the Trance and Techno music genres and thus contributed to the development of DJ culture from its inception. They met while collaborating for the music magazine 'Cut.' In 1995, they started hosting the 'Disco Fever' party series in Hamburg, forming the creative group 'The Disco Boys.' At their parties, they played a new original Disco-House-Sound, blending disco hits from the 70s-80s with classic House tracks and new Electro-House compositions, creating their distinctive style. This party series brought them tremendous success, making The Disco Boys popular across Germany. In 2001, they released their first single, a remix of the classic disco track 'Born To Be Alive,' which topped international charts. Their following single 'Here On my Own' also entered the charts and featured the sound producer of the 'Sono' project. Last year, they were residents at the 'El Divino' club, one of the most popular clubs on Ibiza. This year, 'The Disco Boys' are celebrating their 10th anniversary. In early 2005, they released a new single 'For You,' based on a track by the legendary group 'Manfred Mann's Earth Band,' which quickly became a club hit. To celebrate their decade-long anniversary, 'The Disco Boys' decided to mark it with an international 3-month summer tour 'Ten Golden Years' in the world's best clubs. On August 20, Saturday, 'L'eto project' presents 'Disco Party,' where every attendee will become a participant in the filming of the new movie about nightlife 'L'eto In Air.' Special guests will be 'The Disco Boys' (Kontor, Germany) as part of the filming by the French channel 'Nightlife TV.'
