Dj Amiga. From Tokyo to Fabrique

Starting her music career in 2001, Dj Amiga gained fame not only in Japan but also abroad. Her first breakthrough on the global scene was the track 'Live On Brighton Beach-Big Beach Boutique,' used by the famous Fat Boy Slim as the soundtrack for the Japanese release of their DVD. The same track was included in the compilation 'Ambient Meditations 4 God Bless the Chilled' by Mixmaster Morris. Since 2003, Dj Amiga has been performing as a club DJ in most of Tokyo's major clubs, developing her unique style. During her sets, she uses not only turntables but also a computer and synthesizer, mixing various electronic music styles, mainly Electro-clash, Italo-Disco, and Funky House. For over a year now, Dj Amiga has been a resident at Velours club in Aoyama, regularly playing at clubs like Yellow, Ageha, Cay, and Asia. In 2005, during Hernan Cattaneo's Japanese tour, she performed alongside System7. Dj Amiga plays at most fashion events in Tokyo, at parties for Dolce&Gabanna, Calvin Klein, Isse Miyake, and even at the press party for the Formula1 Grand Prix in Japan. On April 7, Dj Amiga will perform at the Moscow club Fabrique with her special set!
