DJ is not a god...

On August 19, Saturday, DJ Whiteside will perform at DяgileV project. How can we explain the phenomenon of 'Whiteside'? What makes this DJ so indispensable at parties in top clubs in Switzerland and beyond? Is it his unique vinyl that cannot be heard in other DJ sets? And this, of course. But Whiteside's main difference from other popular DJs lies in his approach to working with the audience. His special sense of the audience of different clubs and different styles of House music, which make up his set, allows him to bring his listeners to true delight. From this standpoint, Whiteside disagrees with the idea that 'God is a DJ' as mentioned in the track by Faithless. He usually asserts the opposite: 'A DJ is not a god'! Whiteside never loses contact with his audience! Let's go back to the origins of the development of Swiss House music. Zurich was quite dull in terms of nightlife until the opening of 'The Club' in 1986, where Whiteside became a resident shortly after. With his DJ partner, he introduced many new accents to Swiss Dance and House music. House Music literally conquered Switzerland, with Zurich and 'The Club' at its epicenter. After a successful start in his DJ career, Whiteside started creating and recording his own tracks in House and electronic Dance music. His 'Ugly House' CD compilation series became the best-selling in the House genre in Switzerland. Whiteside's first solo album was released in 2000, reaching the 32nd spot on the charts. He continued releasing successful albums in the following years. As a producer and remixer, Whiteside collaborates regularly with artists such as Tanja Dankner and Tiza B. On August 19, Saturday, club DяgileV project presents DJ Whiteside. The night will also feature sets from DJs Max, Mendes, Лосев, Шмель, Кореец, and Smash.
