On December 23, at the "Gorod" club, the new Moscow promo group "KIP" (Killed In Progressive) presents a party dedicated to the birthday of one of its members - DJ Kip.Hive. A special guest of the event will be one of the brightest representatives of British and international dance scenes - DJ Slacker. Currently, DJ and producer Slacker, aka Shem McCauley, ranks 60th in the top 100 DJs in the world and remains at the peak of popularity, significantly outperforming his contemporaries in skill and professionalism. In his work, this DJ uses a wide variety of musical genres, and over the long course of his career, the list keeps getting longer. His musical career spans nearly twenty years; surprisingly, Slacker is usually always a step ahead of his time; this fact became even more evident with the emergence of Ableton Live, which made new technologies for organizing and conducting live shows available, which he always dreamed of. He already has over 50 original tracks and over 100 remixes released under various, sometimes quirky pseudonyms, such as Streets Ahead, Nation 12, Ramp, Live It!, Head Honcho, and finally, Slacker. Recently, Shem has been working on developing a new live "laptop" show, allowing him to turn each live performance into something unique, mixing each element of each track as he likes. This innovation also allows him to use many interesting musical moves, combined with the fervor and signature special effects of Shem, creating an undoubtedly intoxicating cocktail. Currently, Shem is touring worldwide again. Now he can offer more than ever, not only as a DJ but also as the creator of the most exciting and revolutionary live show on the market.
