DMC World DJ Championship. First time in Russia

DMC is the most authoritative international DJ union with a twenty-five-year history. Having divisions all over the world, DMC accepts the most talented and professional artists from each country and pits them against each other at the annual parade review DMC World DJ Championship. Recognized veterans like Carl Cox and Birdy Nam Nam compete on equal terms with young talents from the countryside for the right to be called the best DJ on the planet. This summer, Moscow DJ Dmitry 'DJ Tactics' Vinokurov from the Flammable Beats group signed a contract to host the Russian final of DMC, the winner of which will represent Russia in London at the DMC World final – which will take place on September 26 and 27 at the 02 Arena. The organizer of the Russian final of DMC is the brand DC Shoes, which produces clothing for extreme sports. This company actively collaborates with skateboarders, snowboarders, surfers, as well as implements joint projects with DJs and musicians. The open Russian final of the championship will take place on September 20 at Gazgallery. The musical accompaniment of the opening ceremony will be provided by the hip-hop group Flammable Beats, while guests will be able to enjoy free DJing master classes, visit an exhibition of new professional equipment, compete against each other in the Sony Playstation 3 gaming section, or simply spend time at the bar. At 23.00, a battle will begin, open to everyone (tickets cost 3500 rubles and 300 rubles with a flyer, they can be purchased from September 10 through the kassir.ru system). The 12 nominees will be divided into four groups of three, with each DJ contender's program duration for victory being 3-6 minutes. Showcases of the judges of the Russian final - the Briton Tigerstyles, the Frenchman DJ Troubl, and the Russian DJ Tactics - will take place between the performances of the trios. The contestants' skills will be assessed on a ten-point scale in parameters such as creativity, musicality, and mixing. After announcing the winner, the judges will take the stage with their sets and entertain the guests until morning. The host of the Russian final ceremony is Alex D.
