Dubclub on the Territory of Arma

The territory of the Arma factory has every chance of becoming the club epicenter of the capital. Recently, we reported on the opening of the club "Eight" in Lower Susalny Lane, now we are eager to share news about a new place called Dubclub.
The ideological inspirers and organizers of the project are the young and ambitious company Music Communication, which is actively and successfully engaged in promotional and production activities in Moscow and beyond.
The club's musical policy will be built on diversity. Common principles are the novelty and relevance of the performing artists. The "prime time" of the week (Friday and Saturday from 11 PM to 6 AM) is entrusted to the residents of the National Techno community – Vasiliy (Bvoice), Artem (Anrilov), Stanislav (Cross), whose authority and musical experience can be relied upon.
Special attention is given to "Evening Thursdays" in Dubclub (8 PM to midnight), which aim to diversify the already rich cultural program of the capital with performances by truly "independent" (indie) musicians and bands. In March, for example, you will be able to hear: I love you baby! (Sweden), Manicure, Punk TV, Love-Fine, On-The-Go. The event organizers are the promotional group IceCreamDisco.
Dubclub also intends to collaborate with various creative associations. Thus, at the end of March, a celebration of the sixth anniversary of Nervmusic is planned. This same month, with the support of the creative union Leibniz, a concert by the Russian collective D-pulse will take place. Not long ago, the band left their hometown Izhevsk and now settled in Europe, so the upcoming concert is a rare opportunity to see them in Moscow. Another surprise Dubclub has prepared for Muscovites in April. One of the most famous clubs in Berlin will hold its signature party here with its residents.
Close ties with musicians from around the world will ensure that the club is not lacking in distinguished foreign guests. In addition to those starting the spring season - Pier Bucci and Dapayk and Padberg, ahead are: Martin Landsky (Poker Flat), Marcus Guentner (Kompakt), Matias Aguayo, Candy (Germany), Joe Le Bon, Basti Grub, Shaun Reeves & Rebekah (Raum Music) Sound Architect – Joackim (Holland), Z-Trip (USA) and many, many others.
The official opening of Dubclub will take place at Arma 7/7 on March 20. This weekend - March 7 and 8 - the club will operate in test mode, as it will the following weekends. The entrance fee will range from 300 to 500 rubles on different days, however, the organizers assure that the list system will be actively in effect. Finally, one of the most pleasant surprises will be the coveted whiskey-cola cocktail at the bar for 200 rubles.

Once, I was in the Melbourne club "Honky-Tonks", which seemed almost perfect to me. I won't describe everything, but one thing caught my attention especially: I'm walking to the bathroom, passing by the women's one, and there's loud music. Not the same music that's on the dance floor. The door opens, and a huge black guy with a smile like Dr. Livesey's stumbles out, along with a ginger girl holding onto his pants so she doesn't fall, laughing. I peeked in there. In the women's bathroom, there's a DJess, all in dreadlocks, playing disco, and people are dancing around. Someone is washing their face, someone is smoking, someone is coming out of the stalls, boys, girls - everyone is having fun, and nobody is tense. I spent about four hours there. It was one of the happiest moments in Australia. Afterward, I imagined such a "boudoir". There will be something similar in Dubclub. I don't know if they'll manage to make a dance floor in the bathroom before the pre-opening on the 7th, but it will definitely be ready by the 20th. Its goal is to enhance what happens on the main dance floor and make the event more vivid. What I like about the future Dubclub is its red walls, which may not be visible due to the large amounts of light hung here and there. I won't describe everything in detail, but the parties will be more than just parties with music, dancing, and alcohol. For each, we will prepare our own dramaturgy and intend to manipulate emotions with screens, light, and music.
Right now, it seems like just words, but it will all happen, believe me.

From us with Artem Anrilov and Stas Cross, expect Fridays in the "SamYzdat" style... An ocean of electronic music promotion from around the world, both well-known guests and not only... In general, an anti-crisis program: "Cowboys don't cry"...

I don't want to overly praise something that's just starting out, but I can confidently say that the main attribute in Dubclub will be Music... The rest is supplementary, and it's a sin not to embrace good quality music... Overall, it will be free and easy. Thursdays will feature guitar and acoustic stuff, Fridays will showcase current arrivals and new trends in tech-house-minimal sound, Saturdays will be broader musically. Throwbacks and crossings beyond the buoys...
