Jeff Mills - The Exhibitionist!

In February 2004, Jeff Mills released the DVD 'The Exhibitionist' on his Axis Records label. One of the godfathers of techno music, American Jeff Mills has always been in search of new territories to experiment with and expand the concept of techno. He decided to clone himself! To perform simultaneously in different locations! This idea came to him during one of his performances at the Tokyo club 'Liquid Rooms.' In the middle of his set, Mills discreetly disappeared from the DJ booth and replaced himself with a DVD disc. The crowd didn't notice anything and continued to dance energetically. It was at that moment that Mills came up with the idea for a new project. Locking himself in his studio in Detroit, Mills got to work. The whole concept of this project was for the DVD disc to provide the full experience of a club night: lights, sound, and the feeling that Mills himself was somewhere nearby, playing music especially for you. The disc will contain three 45-minute mixes, featuring music from his labels Axis, Tomorrow, and Purpose Maker, an interview with Mills where he talks about creating this disc and its concept, as well as information about Mills himself and the Detroit techno scene in general. Also, a CD version of this project will be released, featuring new music from Claude Young, Oliver Ho, and many others. By the way, there are persistent rumors that next year, this famous figure and unparalleled vinyl master will come to Moscow.
