Jeremy P. Caulfield – founder and chief helmsman of the cult label Dumb-Unit, successful musician, and sought-after DJ. In recent years, he has been very busy – not only with the label’s affairs, which has reached far beyond Canada. Jeremy's musical creativity and DJ performances shine brightly on the global techno, tech house, and minimal scene. His slightly nervous, harsh, and uncompromising sound, which is unmistakably recognizable, has conquered many clubs around the world. Flexible yet rich, Jeremy Caulfield’s music challenges established stereotypes of modern techno and wins. Over the last four years, Jeremy Caulfield has released three official mixes and recorded several records that immediately became classics on labels like WMF, Trapez, and Dumb-Unit. His impressive remix list and live performances have consistently delighted audiences. Invitations to major festivals like Movement, Mutek, and Detroit Electronic Music Festival exemplify the universal respect. Over the seven years of its existence, the Dumb-Unit label has grown from a forge of local Canadian talent into one of the most respected, resilient, and recognizable Canadian labels.
