The only concert of Troum and Cisfinitum

Troum is a dream, and a dream is a symbol of the unconscious. Just like in a semi-conscious state, this music can lead to very deep, beyond rational areas of the emotional sphere. It is the mystery of the Other, unattainable, elusive, and inexplicable harmony that defies comprehension and rational analysis. Troum as a group has been in existence since 1997 and in 9 years has released 8 full albums and numerous collaborative albums, singles, and mini-releases. The group's peculiarity lies in the fundamental refusal of computers, synthesizers, samplers, and other digital sound sources. The use of acoustic instruments (guitar, bass, accordion, gong, flute, voice), analog recordings, and rather simple sound arrangement and processing devices allow the musicians to achieve phenomenal results - in the realm of sound collages, post-industrial minimalism, and transcendent journeys, Troum rightfully holds a leading position. Troum have already performed in Moscow twice, and their concerts have become a real event, receiving a lot of enthusiastic feedback. For those who could not attend, now there is a third and, most likely, final chance to hear Troum's music in its original embodiment. One of the duo's members, Martin Gitchel, is seriously ill, but he has found the strength for a concert that promises to be the most impressive in the group's history. It will be based on a new program called "Shutun" ("distant", "transcendental" in Arabic, as well as a derivative of "shaytan", i.e. devil). The studio version of the program, which the musicians have been working on for the past year and a half, will be released in October on CD in a metal box by the label Old Europa Cafe. Cisfinitum is currently the most promising Moscow project. The group's original sound is related to the use of malfunctioning semi-professional synthesizers and sequencers, Soviet analog synthesizers, acoustic instruments, and elements of concrete sound. The group has five outstanding albums released by leading Russian industrial labels: "Landschaft", "Malgyl", "V", "Music of Light", and "Bezdna". A new program has been prepared for the joint concert with Troum, promising to be a pleasant surprise for all fans of the project. September 8, Friday, starting at 8:00 p.m., cultural center "Dom", Troum and Cisfinitum - the only concert of the drone-ambient legend in Russia, tickets cost 500 rubles.
