Exclusive! Japanese Artist KK NULL and Alexei Borisov to Perform Live Together

In 2002, KK NULL and Alexei Borisov met in Moscow at Sergei Kuryokhin's festival, and after a brief conversation, they decided to record a joint album. As a result of exchanging audio files over the course of a year, they released a collaborative work titled 'Xenoglossia.' Translated from Latin, 'xenoglossia' means fear of foreign languages. The album was released by the Moscow independent label 'Insofar Vapor Bulk.' The duo will perform live for the first time in Moscow.

KK NULL is a cult figure in Japanese electronic music. He gained worldwide recognition through his experimental rock project Zeni Geva, where he plays guitar and electronic instruments. KK NULL also performs solo, playing music in the style of 'space noise' and glitch electronics. His discography includes over 40 albums, featuring collaborations with various masters of the global experimental scene and numerous projects where he plays various electronic and acoustic instruments. Alexei Borisov is a widely known sound artist and one of the pioneers of Russian electronic music. He has been part of several cult projects, including the post-industrial group 'Nochnoy Prospekt', the electronic duo F.R.U.I.T.S. (with Pavel Zhagun), the ethno-electronic project 'Volga', and the new-jazz trio 'Gosplan.' Alexei has participated in prestigious international festivals such as Avanto (Helsinki 2001/02), Phonotaktik (Vienna 2002), Sonar (Barcelona 2003), Transmediale (Berlin 2004), and more. DJ KOLOMBO is one of the most original and lively DJs in Moscow, known for effortlessly blending techno and classical music, electro and jazz, ambient and ethnic sounds, IDM and pop. As one of the most experienced jam artists in Moscow (extracting various musical sounds using the voice), his vocal beat improvisations can be heard on recordings by Moscow Grooves Institute and other well-known projects.
