Experiment: 'Women-Synthesizer'

We present to you another musical experiment called 'Humanthesizer'. If conductive paint seemed boring and unnecessary to you, take a look at this wonder. Humanthesizer is a creative collaboration between electronic musician Calvin Harris, Sony Music UK, and the talented creators of conductive paint Bare→. As a result, 15 beautiful girls in bikinis turn into a powerful synthesizer based on the Arduino platform. As you can see in the video below, the 'living' synthesizer, thanks to Max/MSP and Ableton Live, can reproduce Harris's composition 'Ready For The Weekend'. Watching this performance, it's hard to tell whether the participants are dancing or simply playing music... But the essence is simple: every piece of matter sounds from the touch of the girls when they pinch the electric circuit with their hand or foot.
