Radiohead's Experiments

The lead singer of Radiohead, who recently made waves with an original approach to distributing their new album via their website, has taken to being a DJ. Thom played a small set in a "test cast" that was broadcast on the website www.radiohead.tv. Starting with ambient music, the newly minted DJ switched to upbeat electro, sprinkled with recognizable Radiohead keyboards. Such a penchant for experimentation is commendable.
However, the experiment with the new album, which could be downloaded from the group's official site for any price, ended with ambiguous results. Only about 30 percent of website visitors did not enter 0 in the "payment amount" field. The rest limited themselves to 6-8 dollars, which is significantly lower than the average album price on iTunes. Although, perhaps happiness isn’t about money, especially if you're already a legend.
