A female DJ and musician who rocked dance floors at clubs, raves, and festivals in more than 31 countries around the world. Her name occupies a place in the European clubber's dictionary between the concepts of 'techno' and 'party'. Electric Indigo began her career in 1989 in Vienna, at the time she was living in Berlin, and by 1993 she had permanently moved to Vienna. In 1998, Electric Indigo opened a new chapter in the female DJ movement by organizing a special database of women in club culture and the electronic scene on the internet. In the summer of 2003, she founded her own label, Indigo Inc. Recording. After releasing two albums, her remixes were played by Acid Maria, TokTok, Jennifer, and Cristian Uogel. Like no other DJ, Electric Indigo shapes an intelligent and abstract idea of techno music. Lately, she has been appearing frequently on television and radio, and her sets have been heard at festivals such as Mayday, Love Parade, Technomania, MeltOpen Air (Germany), Detroit Electronic Music Festival (USA), Tresor, and Elektro (Berlin).
