Electronic Voyage

Despite its short existence, the Italian duo Cyberpunkers is quickly embodying the role of internet-born hackers (or, as they were called before the invention of that word, information cowboys, which would be more accurate). Almost every one of their performances is reminiscent of a top-notch show (they compare themselves to the French group Daft Punk and with all their movements on stage, they resemble robots imagined by directors of 60s sci-fi movies), with music being, in their words, the most important element of their show - this is probably what the music would sound like if, before its uprising, the SkyNet computer from the movie 'Terminator' had decided to throw a nice party. Their debut DJ mix with the precise title 'Elektro Voyage' is a kind of quintessence of their entire show program, accumulated knowledge and skills. The mix is so cleverly done that you could get confused in its classification - whether it's sparkling progressive house or electro house, but completely different from numerous genre peers. It features many Italian counterparts on the scene, including a remix by Superchumbo - so if asked to give a short description of this work, it can be summarized as 'the most accurate snapshot of modern dance floors sound'.
