Elements by Shiloh

Baroque Records label is launching a brand new series of DJ mixes called 'Elements'. This series has a unique concept where invited artists will try to combine their studio and DJ skills. In other words, there won't be full tracks as such - artists will select tracks, dissect them in various ways, lay them out into separate sounds they need, create new arrangements, and end up with a completely unique compilation. The first to embark on this bold initiative were the More brothers - Colin and Justin - better known as Shiloh. They have been actively involved in music for quite some time, spinning records and promoting the progressive breaks style by releasing interesting works on Baroque, Electro Fly, and some other labels. Their performances, whether at the giant rave DJ Parade in St. Petersburg or on the program of the authoritative English radio host Annie Nightingale on BBC Radio 1, invariably attracted masses of new fans. But aside from their DJing, Shiloh are first and foremost remarkable musicians, as they prove with each new record, and their album 'Bleed' was warmly received by the English press, with the influential DJmag even calling it one of the best in 2006. The artists enthusiastically took on this interesting challenge and solemnly assure everyone that something unusual has come out of it. Progressive house, progressive breaks, with melodies, atmosphere, smiles - and all of this is maintained in a unified concept, extremely interesting, technologically advanced, and not in the least bit boring.
