This is Sander Kleinenberg

The Renaissance label and Sander Kleinenberg continue one of their most successful series - Sander's own series called 'This is...', which replaced the 'Everybody' series released on Renaissance several years ago. Both 'This is...' and 'Everybody' are conceptual parties that Sander held at the best clubs in the world, such as Miami's Space or his native Amsterdam. There he tested his bold technological ideas, like the new Pioneer invention - a DVD turntable that combines VJ and DJ functions. He always tried to go beyond the narrow boundaries of one style and easily and naturally combine seemingly incompatible elements. Perhaps that's why all of his compilations enjoyed stable popularity, with long lines forming at the parties, leading to a small cult following for Sander, his parties, and the mixes associated with them. And here is his new DJ work under the self-explanatory title 'This is... Sander Kleinenberg,' about which Kleinenberg himself comments that for him, it's like a puzzle. 'You see,' says the creator, 'it really is like a puzzle: you have 28 pieces that need to be arranged in such a way that it all looks very harmonious.' The music here spans a wide range of styles, featuring Moscow DJ Smash's work, representatives of popular German labels like Get Physical, techno-romanticism from Gui Boratto and Robert Babicz, Dutch progressive house musicians Ohmna, and many others. It turns out that 'This is... Sander Kleinenberg' is a work that reflects the diversity of contemporary dance music - from refined minimalism to powerful progressive and electro house that tears up the dance floor. 'You know, I think it turned out to be a terribly pleasant mishmash of styles, and the work itself is difficult to classify stylistically. I think this is some kind of completely new style. And for those who will listen to this work, all that remains is to enjoy!'
