FabricLive.37 is dedicated to dubstep

Since the fall of 2001, the London club Fabric has been releasing compilations of current music, compiled by the most progressive and authoritative DJs and musicians from around the world. Mixes are released in the Fabric and FabricLive series.
The thirty-seventh FabricLive will be dedicated to dubstep. The creators of this creation are young, but already very well-known personalities Caspa (Gary Mc Cann) and Rusko (Chris Mercer). The artists are not yet twenty-five, and their works are already being released by Sub Soldiers, Dub Police and Tempa.
The recording turned out to be so joyful, so happy and danceable that the analogies that come to mind, when the word “dubstep” appears, with Burial and Kode9, and all the products of the leading label in this genre, Hiperdub, are instantly cut off. There are no gloomy harmonies or decadent moods here - everything glows, jumps and develops. Powerful, guttural bass; broken structural relief, buzzing and as if falling from above a flurry of sounds passed through filters - all this gives rise to the atmosphere of a real underground London club. Dubstep, as a genre that emerged as a result of the merging of other genres, in the case of FabricLive37, has absorbed, in addition to dub and two-step, drum and bass, hip-hop, reggae and God knows what else. The mix even includes a remix of MC Hammer's main hit, "Can't touch this."
The track list contains an abundance of new names, but there are also “veterans” like Skream. Fifteen of the thirty tracks are from the pen of Kaspa and Rusko – these are such ambitious guys. To get acquainted with their work, you don’t have to frantically search for and buy the records they released - they are almost “from” to “before” in this recording.FabricLive.37 will be released on December 12th via Fabriclondon→Tracklist:
