Electro-Mechanics Festival

The Electro-Mechanics Festival will take place from November 15-17, 2007, in St. Petersburg at the Center for Contemporary Art. This is a new festival of electronic arts – electronic music of various styles, video art, animation, music videos, and installations. Workshops and lectures on electronic art are also a significant part of the program. The Electro-Mechanics Festival is organized by the Sergei Kurekhin Foundation with the support of the Culture Committee of St. Petersburg.
On November 15 – the program includes music videos, short films, and animations. The program features a presentation of the animation collection Koms.ru (Russia), a special program of music videos by Philipp Virus - Philipp Virus Reel (1993-2004) (Germany), the animated multimedia project Drifters from Outerspace (Netherlands), music videos and short films by Run Wrake and much more. Music videos will also be shown in the foyer on the second floor on several screens throughout the festival.
