HowDoYouDo Festival at 'Shanti'

The "Space It Out" events at Shanti continue to introduce the Moscow audience to new personalities. This time, as part of the series, there will be a whole mini-festival called HowDoYouDo - three projects, three live performances, three different musical concepts.
Korablove is a well-known Saint Petersburg musician who has long settled in Moscow. However, this does not prevent him from maintaining a presence in the clubs of both capitals. Along with Korablove, an unusual rainy, melancholic, deep sound in techno has arrived from the ports of St. Petersburg to Moscow. The musician is currently actively touring across cities and towns. At the same time, Roma finds time to realize new musical ideas. For instance, one of his new tracks features the voice of the vocalist from the SCSI-9 project, Katya Ryba.
The group Tanzport, featuring Sergey Fresh and Maxim N-Dee, also has a rich musical background. In the late '90s, they started out as DJs in Novosibirsk, then moved to Moscow in the early 2000s, where they engaged in lively activities. Sergey performed as a DJ at Steping Sessions parties in the "Republic of Beefeater," played at "Rynda," and even managed to collaborate with the legendary sound system Ptyucha. Maxim gained recognition for the best DJ set at the first Russian Cafe del Mar Lounge Festival and co-authored the soundtrack for a play based on one of Mikhail Volokhov's works last year. The music they create together varies from warm atmospheric deep house to hypnotic minimal techno.
Illuminated Faces is a project by Roman Tsepeliev, who has built a solid portfolio over the past two years. In 2006, his debut CD titled Roadbag was released on the St. Petersburg label Extra Music, receiving good reviews in the press and selling over two thousand copies, and a year later Roman won the annual Red Bull Music Academy competition. The competition organizers compared Illuminated Faces tracks to the music of A Guy Called Gerald and Two Lone Swordsmen. The musician also performed at last year’s “Afisha Picnic” festival. Roman’s wide musical outlook is undoubtedly among his undeniable virtues - he eagerly experiments with broken rhythms, sentimental melodies, and atmospheric ambient landscapes.
In addition to the three concerts, everyone coming to "Shanti" that night can expect live video from young Muscovite Acidburn, as well as DJ sets from Kross and Andriesh.
