Khan Altay is a timeless celebration, a festival of art and creativity, bringing together friends from different countries to witness the solar eclipse - a parade of planets, opening the path between worlds, on the ancient Altai land. This moment is guarded by the dragon (the seer), whose blue shadow dreams deep within, while the fiery spirit soars high above. According to legend, Altai is a crossroads between worlds, where the central axis connecting three worlds passes through. It is a staircase from the underworld, through the world of humans, to the opposing mountainous, celestial world. Khan Altay is the mighty spirit of the planet, preserving the memory of ancestors. It is a living, breathing portal to planetary consciousness. Khan Altay Festival is our tribute to the planet, preserving the preciousness of timeless awareness. The music concept of the Khan Altay festival differs from everything that has come before. The festival program includes not only trance and psychedelic music. Ethnic world music takes a larger place, along with various manifestations of acoustic and electronic music - experimental, fusion, trip-hop, idm, noise, minimal, downtempo, dub, jazz, tribal...
