City Production Center City Advertising Company and the Professional Union of Artists present the First Moscow Festival of Progressive Music and Contemporary Art Noumen-Art
The name of the Festival comes from the Greek word noumenon, which means intelligibility. Since ancient times, man has been given the ability to think and reason about the invisible, about what he has never seen. But the most amazing thing is that this purely mental property of a person gives him a limitless range of sensory experiences. Noumenon Art is the study of the intelligible through feelings and emotions, through art, through play. In our Festival it is primarily music, video art, as well as performances, shows of collections of avant-garde fashion designers, photo and collage exhibitions.
Under the pressure of the low-grade pop music that has overwhelmed us, it increasingly seems that nothing else is happening in modern Russian musical culture, and we are sliding into the abyss of complete taste and mental degradation. But this is far from true. Dozens of talented young and not so young people, contrary to the prevailing conditions, create musical and artistic products of international level. This top-notch music and cutting-edge art may not be seen on television, but it's time to bring true musicians and artists together and make them known to the public. The goal of our Festival is to attract youth audiences to highly artistic intellectual trends of modern culture and support advanced musicians, artists, artists.
