SoundTropolis Festival

KontForс presents the international electronic music festival SoundTropolis - City of Sound. The history of open air parties in Russia dates back to the summer of 1996, when the art group club Rechnikov organized an Illegal picnic on the Kronstadt dam. Since then, the Corporation of Happiness, which includes Rechnikov Club and KontFors Company, annually transforms the most picturesque suburbs of St. Petersburg into dance floors. Traditionally, the locations of open airs were kept secret until the last hour, but thousands of young people would gather at the dance floor at the appointed time. In 2007, the international electronic music festival SoundTropolis will take place under the open sky of Lake Ladoga. The festival's program is based on current musical styles, with a separate area created for each. The central area of the fortress is the main dance floor with electro and hard house music, drum'n'bass on the coast, new rave and breaks arena in the inner courtyard, and a beach area.
