Flagship Weekend proudly presents in the last weekend of this summer the charming Scarlett Etienne and the incomparable Shapeshifters.

Scarlett was born in Hong Kong to a military family and spent her childhood constantly traveling until she settled in New York at the age of 18. She immediately immersed herself in the city's nightlife, where her idols became Danny Tenaglia and Junior Vasquez.
Scarlett's incredible love for music and her unlimited potential led her to create her own style based on music from various cultures. She studied classical piano from an early age and by the age of 15, while still living in Canada, she was fully reproducing various concerts and playing different music in various teenage bands, ranging from blues to rock.
Scarlett's passion and musical skills evolved into her solo DJ performances around the world. Initially performing in clubs in New York and San Francisco, she then made her mark with her music in Europe, from Madrid to Athens. In 2002, she became a resident DJ at the renowned Italian club Alter-Ego. And in the summer of 2003, during her summer tour, she had the honor of performing at the legendary Amnesia in Ibiza.
Diversity is at the heart of Scarlett's music. Her style can be described as progressive funky house with melodic rhythms. It was only at the age of 22 that Scarlett acquired her uniqueness and understanding of music, now greatly influencing the global dance culture. Often she locks herself in her Pro-Tools project studio at home, continuing to search for new and interesting sounds.

Shapeshifters are arguably the most popular duo of this summer, thanks to their track 'Lola's Theme.' It is one of the most popular melodies of the year, eliciting an unprecedented reaction in the club world not seen since Spiller's 'Groovejet' times. Their vinyl record, released in a limited edition by the new label Nocturnal Groove, sold out in a matter of minutes.
This track can now be heard on all dance radio stations. Pete Tong starts his show on Radio 1 with this track every time. It is played in sets by all DJs on the planet from Lottie, Seb Fontaine, Felix Tha Housecat, and Danny Rampling to Nic Fancuilli and ATFC.
This melody is the result of the collaboration between two longtime friends, Simon Marlin and Max Reich. Simon Marlin was once the manager of Peppermint Jam, and Max Reich began his career in his native Sweden, making remixes for Faithless, Moloko, Rhinocerose at one point. It is now the main theme on all dance floors in Ibiza.
