On November 26, the Shanti club will host a new party from the Fragment Sessions series. This time the guests of the event will be residents of the Cadenza and Sound Architecture labels – Francisco Allendes (Chile) and Joachim aka Concolor (Holland).
Francisco Allendes came to electronic music in a completely traditional way - after graduating from music school, albeit with a degree in violin, and experiencing a passion for progressive rock, guitars and synthesizers.
In 2001, at the age of 20, he was already mixing records at friends' parties in Santiago and in a short time joined the circle of professional DJs, fortunately finding himself in this environment at the peak of the development of the Chilean electronic scene. The musician’s first album with 9 tracks on CD - Vacas Locas (Techfest Records label), literally - “Crazy Cows”, was released in 2003. For him, Francisco was awarded the title of best national electronic musician. He won the same award the following year for his first long-play Cyberpunk (Tron Records). Finally, having prepared his third release, Edicion Limitada de Bajo Presupuesto (Tron Records), the young musician went on a tour of the cities of Chile.
Having traveled extensively around his native country, Francisco realized that he needed to live outside its borders for some time. The choice fell on the Spanish city of Zaragoza. The move was also conducive to the professional development of Allendes, however, as one of the participants in the projects Monomachine and Garlic - the production duo of Francisco and the Spanish DJ and musician Inigo Oruezabal. Throughout 2006, this couple released several records that had a positive impact on the reputation of both sound producers.
Returning to Chile, Francisco, together with his longtime friend Marcelo Rosselot, founded his own label, designed primarily to promote emerging musicians, Andes Music. In 2009, it released the release of Francisco Allendes himself, Fiebre Amarilla.
The second foreign guest of Fragment Sessions is Joachim, a native of Belgium who moved to the Netherlands, where he finally settled in Rotterdam.
Joachim's DJ debut took place in 1995, and 4 years later he founded Sound Architecture, which over the next few years became one of the most respected Dutch club brands and created a solid foundation for the development of the local techno scene. Signature parties of Sound Architecture, such as ON, Subtronics, The night of Motorcity Detroit, Music People and Less=More, at various times featured Derrick May, Luciano, Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke, LTJ Bukem, Sven Vath and other legendary DJs and producers, most of whom the label still exclusively represents in the Benelux countries.
In 2004, Sound Architecture first announced itself as a record label, the premiere release of which was the work of the world famous musician Joris Voorn. Subsequently, such musicians as Alexander Kowalski, Duplex, Dark Science, Deetron and Shawn Rudiman, Biological released their releases on Joachim’s label.
Joachim's DJ career includes performances at such significant events and clubs as Cocoon, Off Corso, Melkweg, Cafe D'anvers, Club Sublime(AUS), Stubnitz, Paard, Club Silly's, Mono, Nighttown, Mazzo, FFWD, Decadance, Cadenza nights, Loveparade, Sonar, Awakenings, Dance Valley, MAW, Las palmas, Now-Wow, Sweetwaters Festival, Gravity Electronic Festival, Detroit Movement Festival, Timewarp, ADE, Isle of MTV, tours in Chile, Russia, Poland, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Portugal, Thailand, Argentina, Spain, England, USA. Joachim is also the founder of the Rotterdam Electronic Music Festival and owner of the Catwalk club.
As a DJ, Joachim plays a mixture of minimal house, true electro, uplifting tech-house and experimental techno with Detroit roots.
