Freedom Clubbing 2009 - Russian Tour

On April 25, the largest musical project of 2009 - "Freedom Clubbin" - kicked off in Perm. "A show you have never seen!" is the main slogan of this ambitious event. This is not a marketing promise; it is an ideology that has predetermined the musical component and technical content of the project.

The federal tour will surprise each participating city with its scale: Perm, Novosibirsk, Samara, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Omsk, Rostov-on-Don. Events will take place at venues seating around 5,000 people.

Specialists from several European countries are working on the production. The show will utilize the latest equipment from the UK, unavailable in the Russian music market. In particular, the project incorporates 3D holography and I-Bar technology, presented by the largest player in the concert and festival market, S.A.T. (CieAyTi), specially for its long-term partner.

Leading British engineers are currently preparing the visual content for the show. The specialized stage equipment has a unique design developed exclusively for "Freedom Clubbin."

The event's musical program features performances by prominent Russian and foreign DJs, whose sets will be accompanied by a grand show performed by the best dancers, breakdancers, and street dancers. At Club "Globass" in Perm on April 25, DJ Timo Maas will take the decks, supported by DJ Technik from Russia.

The next event in the series will take place in Novosibirsk on May 2. DJ William Orbit (UK) and Volodya Fonar (Moscow) will participate in "Siberian Fair."

Leading decorators from Russia will design the space. The direction of the show will be constructed so that all event attendees will not merely be spectators but full participants in the performance.

Interestingly, the project is drawing not only leaders in the fields of dance and music culture but also Russian fashion designers - one of the most prominent and visible club designers is developing stylish accessories and clothing for "Freedom Clubbin."

The musical project "Freedom Clubbin" has existed since 2005 and has visited 23 cities across Russia with approximately 100 parties.
