More and more cities are joining the global tour Winston Freedom Clubbing. 4 trailers with equipment, holography from the UK, unique i-bar technology, famous Russian and international DJs - on May 23, another nationwide event will take place in Samara. 'A show like you've never seen before!' is the main slogan of this ambitious event. Specialists from several European countries worked on the production. The main program will be opened by one of the most respected Russian DJs, Volodya Fonar. And then, taking the stage, will be Tom Findley, a member and inspiration of Groove Armada. The group Groove Armada was formed in the mid-90s by two London DJs - Tom Findley and Andy Cato. The band became internationally famous in 1999 with the release of the album 'Vertigo', which included the single 'I See You Baby'. Two years later, the musicians solidified their success with the tracks 'My Friend' and 'Superstylin', which was nominated for a Grammy Award. The latest album of the group to date is 'Soundboy Rock', released in 2007, which entered the Top 10 of the UK chart. However, the upcoming event will not only be about music. Every element of Winston Freedom Clubbing is meticulously crafted: dancers' movements on different stages, lighting effects, video design, special effects. One of the highlights of the show will be a transparent art pool located above the heads of the dancing audience. The holographic stage deserves a special mention. Previously, such technologies could only be seen at a Gorillaz concert. The event program will be organized in a way that the attendees will not just be spectators, but full participants. One of the most interactive elements of the event is the I-bar. The bar surface functions like a touch-screen phone - when touched by hands or other objects, the image on the counter starts to move. You can play games on the surface - catching specific letters that move and form a word, or solving a puzzle. The music project 'Winston Freedom Clubbing' has been around since 2005 and has visited 23 cities in Russia with over 100 parties. The main idea of the tour is to combine club music with modern show technologies and dance styles. Winston Freedom Clubbing Samara, 'Expo-Volga' May 23, starting at 22:00
