On May 20th, for the seventh time, the Funk Explosion party will take place at the concert venue of Club B2. This time, talented DJ Ivan Chizhevsky, now known as dj Van, is invited as a special guest. A resident of the Club Cult, a collector of Soviet groove records, and a close friend of Gilles Peterson (BBC), he will perform a special funk&disco set on this May Saturday night. 90 minutes of hot funky melodies combined with ultra-modern disco hits will be just right for our spring party. The ideological inspirer of Funk Explosion, DJ Osadchiy, will play a set from his constantly updated collection of funky vinyl records, which includes both rare releases and very fresh reissues. After receiving many compliments for the visual aspect of Funk Explosion, VJ Yan Nemolovsky has already started creating a new video series that becomes more interesting and colorful from party to party. To kick off the evening, you will enjoy energetic funk from DJ Wonder and lively disco-funk from DJ Kraviz, wrapping up the best funk party in Moscow. Throughout the night, we will be joined by MC Billie Jean and Vadim Kapustin.
