Goatika and DJR Robijn at the festival of Indian culture and medicine in Shanti

The Shanti Club, together with the Kerala Ayurveda and Yoga Therapy Center, is opening a new page in its activities. For the first time, the club will host a festival of Indian culture and medicine, where you can taste not only Indian cuisine and listen to world fusion music, but also get acquainted with the basics of Ayurveda - the “science of life.”
The festival consists of two days. Friday evening is educational in nature, it is presented by Indian specialists from the Kerala center, the program includes a lecture by a doctor of Ayurveda, a master class on yoga, which is inextricably linked with Ayurvedic medicine, as well as a master class on Ayurvedic cooking taking place in the Shanti buffet. In addition, everyone will be able to experience the healing effects of Ayurvedic head and hand massage.
Saturday evening is entirely devoted to the musical program presented by the Shanti-Moscow and Shanti-Goa clubs. The evening's program includes a live performance by the Goatika group, recognized luminaries of the world fusion genre. The creative laboratory Goatika, uniting artists of various musical views, recognized throughout the world, with which they have collaborated at different times: the legendary King Krimson bass player Tony Levin, Moscow keyboardist Arkady Marto and French vocalist Pascale Caristo. The Goatic genre is a fusion of music from various eras and traditions. Their compositions include modern ambient and electronic dub, psychedelia rooted in the sixties, authentic Indian motifs, progressive rock and trance.
You will also find DJ sets from Sashanti - a permanent resident and one of the main characters of the overseas residence Shanti-Goa, as well as the Dutchman DJR Robijn. This man holds the honorary position of resident of the Amsterdam branch of Superclub (an international network of clubs that includes branches in London, Singapore, San Francisco and Istanbul), and in addition regularly performs at the legendary Buddha Bar. Every winter, the highly experienced Dutchman goes to Goa to play, so this man is familiar with the musical traditions of India firsthand. Repeatedly DHR Robijn played in the company of such stars as Derrick May, Dave Seaman, Tayo, Nick Warren and Slam.
