Interactive Media Agency presents the second event of the Godskitchen series featuring famous British DJs Judge Jules and Guy Ornadel. Godskitchen was founded in the UK in 1998. Along with Cream, Ministry of Sound, and Gatecrasher, Godskitchen is one of the most successful global club brands, a leader in the world dance movement.
In its eight years of existence, Godskitchen has transformed into a giant international corporation engaged in the club business, publishing activities, organizing the annual Global Gathering festival, and hosting branded parties around the globe. The brand continually collaborates with well-known DJs and musicians like Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Fatboy Slim, Groove Armada, Faithless, Chemical Brothers, Carl Cox, and Tall Paul.
From June to December 2005 in Moscow, a series of events called Godskitchen Russia will take place. Six parties in the cycle will feature the most popular musicians and DJs in Russia. On June 3, at Studio 11 / De La Guarda, the duos NastyDirtySexMusic (UK) and Different Gear (Italy) performed successfully.
The event continues on September 23 with the tours of famous British DJs Judge Jules and Guy Ornadel. Guests at the next event will determine the headliners and the following action, which will take place in Moscow in October 2005.
Judge Jules is versatile. There is no area of activity he hasn't tried his hand at. "Judge" Jules proudly carries the title of "people's DJ". He has firmly occupied a place in the top ten most popular DJs on the planet. He has been named the best countless times at various ceremonies – from the famous DJ Magazine, which regularly includes Judge Jules in its ranking of Top 100 DJs in the World, to professional awards like the BBM Awards and Smirnoff Dance Star Awards. However, for Jules, all these titles and awards are far from the main thing. What matters more to him is the immense interest from clubbers around the world in his modest persona. And Judge Jules strives to fully justify his fans' trust. He plays 250 sets a year, managing to perform in Britain, where no major open air occurs without him, appearing against the backdrop of the Pyramid of Khufu in Egypt, and then jetting off to Ibiza, where for the fourth consecutive year he fills the dance floors at his Judgments Sunday parties.
He doesn't neglect his journalism career either. Jules has established himself at BBC Radio, where he has hosted his own radio show since 1997. He is also a talented writer, published in prestigious British publications like The Face, I-D, Time Out, Record Mirror, Sunday Times, The Guardian, The Evening Standard, The Independent, The Telegraph, The Sun, and The Mirror. For eight years, he has written a column in Mixmag, where he reviews new dance music releases. Judge Jules also appears on TV, both as the host of popular programs like Judge and The Jury and Spin Cities, and as a "guest star" and respected expert on hit shows like Top of the Pops and Top Gear.
Despite his immense busyness, he continues to be a model family man. He spends all his free time with his beloved wife Amanda and their six-year-old son Jake.
Guy Ornadel has a reputation as one of the leading trance DJs in the UK. Guy began his professional career in the mid-90s as a successful PR and A&R manager working for Warner Bros and Virgin. However, his true passion has always been dance music. Fate led him to such giants as Sasha, Steve Lawler, and Sander Kleinenberg, whom Guy considers his mentors. However, the style promoted by Ornadel is distinctly different from the progressive house of his idols. Guy's music features original variations on the themes of German techno and Dutch trance. The originality of his musical material has propelled Guy Ornadel to the forefront of the popular hard dance style.
For Russian clubbers, Guy Ornadel is known primarily as the author of the very popular compilation albums License To Trill and Slinky. He is performing in Russia for the first time.
