Special Guests from Tigersushi at Suzy Wong Bar

The recent appearance of the androgynous persona Sir Alice on the French record label Tigersushi immediately became an event in the world of electronic music. Sir Alice is actually Alice Daquet, who boldly experiments with punk rock under this alter ego. She has been a notable member of Nouvelle Vague thanks to her extraordinary vocal distortions sung in French, English, and Arabic. Apart from her own compositions, Alice also incorporates the work of Mark Collin. Her debut single '№1' was followed by a half-hour album aptly named '№2', a fireworks display of electro-rock, pop-noise, and French vocals. Sir Alice skillfully blends avant-garde and mainstream, insanity and impeccable musical literacy in her music. Her live performances appeal to a musically advanced audience, merging energy and a vivid parade of feelings and emotions. Sir Alice will make her first appearance in Moscow at Suzy Wong Bar on September 24, 2005, at 10:00 pm along with her sound engineer. The performance will feature costume changes and be described as a 'crazy show-mix' of electronic eclecticism within the framework of contemporary art, with a focus on cabaret and agit-pop. Her live show is a must-see at least once.
