Dirty Techno from Pan/Tone
Клубные российские · 19.02.2006
In reality, the person hiding under the pseudonym Pan/Tone is called much more complicated: Shelbono del Monte. Shelbono grew up in Canada, and as an adult, he was into design – but in the mid-90s, he discovered a true passion for techno. His love for music brought him to Cologne, where he still lives, releasing an impressive amount of releases under various pseudonyms: Pan/Tone on Sub Static, Sid LeRock on Ladomat 2000, Gringo Grinder on Onitor Records, and all of this is the same person, who also travels a lot and performs. Pan/Tone's music is somewhat dark, moving, dirty techno, under which Canadians go crazy at the Mutek festival, and the French in Paris's Rex, and the British in Fabric – in general, everyone who sees the artist, often drinking right at the console during the performance, and hears his music. The main thing is not to forget to warn Pan/Tone under which pseudonym he is performing today.
