Guttersnipe releases Kurpatov Mix

On October 16th, "Government of Sound" and the new sub-label "Algorythmik" are releasing a mix by the well-known Moscow DJ and musician Denis Kaznacheev aka Guttersnipe – "Andrey Kurpatov Mix". There's no point in writing a detailed biography of Denis – this information has already been worn out to holes by media sources, including ours. Let's just mention his highest achievements: member of the Easy Changes project – a promising techno duo (together with Sil) currently releasing on the American Foundsound; IDM producer under the pseudonym Cast; ideologist and main driving force of the techno community Nerv music; organizer and participant of events at "Klesh-cafe" and "Plastiline"; participated in major techno events in Moscow; Denis has performed on the same stage with artists such as Apparat, Dilo, Lawrence aka Sten, and many others. The mix's title "Andrey Kurpatov" is very intriguing (remember that doctor?), whether it's Denis's alter ego and he intends to cure all of us, or global plans to reach a new audience, or irreversible mental changes due to stress from listening to a huge amount of music... Guttersnipe's new work reflects his tastes and views on the modern picture in minimal techno music, featuring like-minded names from Nerv music from all over the world. The mix includes tracks from representatives of the Argentine and South American school, such as: Gurtz, Dilo, Seuil (the latter is from France but has long been signed to Igloo rec. – Argentina); productions from well-known European labels: Esperanza, AlphaHouse, Dumb-Unit, and others. The mix will also include the track Someone Else – Play It Kershaw in the Easy Changes version. All compositions were released this year, and some even have the status of "unreleased". What's most remarkable is that the compilation is legal, meaning the disk will contain full wav versions, not mp3 cuts. In addition, the joy of owning a beautiful insert and an equally beautiful disk as a bonus.
