Hot Chip Releases New Album

In February, Hot Chip will release their third full-length album Made in the Dark. Recorded and produced at home, the album Made in the Dark conveys the drive of the band's live performances just as their second LP The Warning conveyed the deep mood of melancholic pop music. According to press releases, 'powerful amplifiers, keyboards, and distortion have firmly settled in Hot Chip's musical arsenal', and the tracks Hold On and Out At The Pictures sound like they were recorded in one breath. You can appreciate the band's fresh antics in the music video for the single Ready for the Floor.

American fans can catch the band during their tour starting in early February, before Hot Chip returns to the UK, where they will be touring for a while with Matthew Dear's Big Hands. In March, Hot Chip will noisily roll across Europe, and then return to America to amaze with concerts in the northern United States in April.
