Ibiza. Battle for afterparty continues

After the introduction of new rules regarding the opening and closing of clubs, rumors have started circulating about additional tightening of the island's laws, leaving many clubbers wondering - what else to expect from the authorities of Ibiza and how will these innovations affect their previously carefree and endless clubbing vacations? At the end of last year, a new law was passed forcing clubs to only open at noon and close at least for six hours, which means until six in the morning. Bars with a music license can operate from noon until 4 in the morning, and those without - from 8 in the morning until 3 at night. This law was the result of the efforts of the caring Pakita Ribas, who aimed to please both the 'day' and 'night' tourists on the island. It seems the 'day' visitors can already rejoice... But even these measures seemed insufficient to Mr. Ribas, and local authorities are contemplating shifting the clubbing hours on the island once again. Although these rumors have not been confirmed yet, the gossip persistently claims that the authorities want to prohibit clubs from opening before 16:30 or even 18:00! True, only two clubs - DC10 and Space - will be affected by this new possible requirement, but this will lead to a serious reconsideration of many 'night tourists' holiday plans, undoubtedly disappointing not just one thousand carefree clubbers of the White Island. While there is no confirmation or denial of these rumors, we are left holding our breath to see what decision the overly vigilant Ibiza hawk Pakita Ribas, who considers the entire island to be her chicks in need of care, will make.
