On November 4 and 5, the premiere of the experimental theatrical project 'Fish-Not-Us' will take place at the Theatrical Center 'Na Strastnom'. 'Fish-Not-Us' is a rebus. The project offers a holistic perception (Gestalt) of contemporary life through the main cultural directions: drama in theater, documentary in cinema, electronic and live music (art rock, rap, ethno-jazz, reggae), poetry by Joseph Brodsky, and a photo exhibition. Mixing elements of radio broadcast by a DJ, music by Gera Morales (Jah Division), and Vladimir Klykov's composition on Brodsky's poems, together with films by Andrey Zaitsev, creates various collages of reality before the audience's eyes. The performance portrays the lives of city dwellers, focusing on the dreams and abrupt endings in the fast-paced rhythm of modern life. The show explores themes of honesty, responsibility, and the sudden disruptions of daily routines in a big city environment. The immersive experience will evoke laughter, empathy, astonishment, merging into a whirlwind of emotions. The project aims to depict the essence of the mundane by blending verbatim techniques with real-life stories of young individuals. The theater, as the predominant form, immerses viewers into the 'here and now' reality. Dedicated to all affected by terrorist acts, the project's organizers are the Moscow City Culture Committee and the Autonomous Nonprofit Cultural Organization 'Art Project'. Featuring a diverse line-up of talents including Valus Tertelis, Andrey Zaitsev, Roman Balachin, Vladimir Klykov, Herbert Morales, Tatiana Ipatova, Andrey Chezhin, and Svetlana Volodina, the theatrical mosaic explores the intersection of art forms and human experiences on November 4 and 5 at the Theatrical Center 'Na Strastnom'.
