Impeach My Bush: Explosive release from Peaches

Berlin punk-electro-rap diva Peaches is releasing a new album with the provocative title Impeach My Bush. The album features collaborations with Joan Jett, Feist, Josh Homme, and Beth Ditto, as well as the track 'Two Guys For Every Girl,' in which the rapper suggests that men engage in sex with each other. Peaches has previously touched on this topic in an interview for NME magazine a couple of years ago. 'All the women I know have kissed another woman at least once. But not every man I know has done something like that with another man. I think it's stupid. For some reason, people think that a heterosexual man strictly - strictly prohibited from kissing another man, while a heterosexual woman can easily indulge in such mischief.' Around the same time, Peaches commented on the title for the 2004 album 'Fatherf...ker'. 'I can't call myself Motherf...ker! Because I'm a real Fatherf...ker.' And on the same theme, she continued: 'Before releasing that album, I had a meeting with the staff of my label XL. They said I couldn't call the record Futherfu...ker because then I wouldn't be able to sell it at Walmart. I told them to go to hell with their Walmart and that I don't want to sell out in that stupid retail chain.' The new album Impeach My Bush will be released on the XL label on July 12th.
