Indothursday at Shanti

This Thursday at Shanti, DJ Sasha from Goa and the band Diggadgy will perform. DJ Sasha is the founder of the first Indian house label in Goa - Nataraja DJ's. The label has brought together DJs from India, Ukraine, Italy, Belgium, and Russia. Sasha has been playing music in the styles of house and chill-out for 11 years, the last 2 years exclusively in India. He was named one of the best DJs in India in 2005. Diggadgy was formed in 2002. The musicians themselves call their style goa-electronic sounds: a mix of Indian ethnicity with genres like dub, ragga, breakbeat, trance, techno, drum'n'bass, down-tempo, chill-out. Recently, Diggadgy returned from India (Goa), where they performed in various places, including 'Shanti' in Goa. During their time in Goa, they wrote a lot of new material, which is included in their new concert program.
