Struggling to mix two tracks? Just watch the video on how to do it on YouTube. Considering himself not noteworthy enough, one DJ almost became an internet star after his DJing tutorials began appearing on the popular video site YouTube.
Johnathan M Bouvier Lewis, the only DJ in a small Welsh village where he lives, started uploading his video tutorials to the worldwide web as a joke. But over time, his works began to attract two thousand viewers a day.
"There are very few videos on the internet teaching people the art of DJing, and even those that exist are quite complex. Mostly, they are materials dedicated to scratching from masters of the craft. But what about beginners and those just starting out?" – says Johnathan, – "There are so many DJs now with decks, but they don't even know how to use them. That's why I decided to address this issue." In the last few months, Johnathan has uploaded over 130 videos on the basics of DJing.
"I don't want to portray myself as an expert; I just want to help DJs," says the musician, – "I just hope that someone from the famous DJs will see what I’ve done, take a camera, and also share their experience."
