Isolee - Guest of Space It Out

For modern electronic music, Raiko Müller, known as Isolee, is a significant figure. Essentially, his debut album Rest, released on Frankfurt's Playhouse, was the first long-playing record in the history of micro-house. And the track Beau Mot Plage can already be considered a classic.

Beau Mot Plage is the name of a beach in Algeria where Raiko loved spending time as a child. Of German origin, he lived for several years with his family in North Africa.

Then he returned to his homeland and went to school, where he wrote with monstrous grammatical errors. He was much better at reproducing compositions he heard on the radio on a children's synthesizer gifted to him by his parents. He did it so well that soon a better synthesizer was needed, followed by a drum machine.

Raiko took his first works to friends who worked in a music store along with the founders of the Playhouse label. Thus, Raiko Müller became Isolee, and Playhouse gained one of its best releases, his album Rest.

To prepare a second album of the same power, Raiko needed five years. The released in 2005 We Are Monster was called an outstanding work not only by fans but also by authoritative figures such as Laurent Garnier, Tiga, and Trevor Jackson. Isolee managed to achieve a truly original sound, combining house, disco, and 80's space rock.

On January 17, Isolee will be the guest of the next session of Space It Out at the Shanti club.
