On January 18, Russian electronic musicians Miusha, Mujuice, Moscow Groove Institute, and Dj Vadim Solovyev performed at the opening ceremony of the annual exhibition in Cannes, France - Midem.
Midem is an important event for music business professionals. After 43 years of the exhibition's existence, Russia became its honorary country for the first time, allowing us to present our artists at the international level fully.
The organizer of the Russian program at Midem was the Billboard magazine. Three dance labels: Freestyle Rec, National Techno, and Airobica Records were presented at the Russian stand.
Miujuce and Moscow Groove Institute performed on the electronic stage. The headliner of the party on the main stage of the Ambassador Hall at the Palace de Festival was the Miusha project. Over the four days of the event, Miusha received several contract offers as well as concerts at major festivals.
By accepting an offer from Brian Message (manager of Radiohead), Miusha joined the Featured Artists Coalition music community (London, UK). After such success, Russian electronic music may expect a new turn in the international music market.
Soon, an afterparty for Midem will take place in Moscow. The venue and time have not yet been announced.
