James Fierce is a true mystery man of international scale. His official press release tells highly engaging stories about James's involvement in the production of low-budget porn films, appearances on fashion runways, and friendships with famous models. Nevertheless, James Fierce's real life is no less fascinating. His DJ career began at London's Trade, where Fierce played alongside DJ Sneak, Derrick Carter, and Malcolm Duffy. Then came the underground Fierce parties, moving from club to club all over Britain, and triumphant shows at Godskitchen and Slinky festivals. Ultimately, James found himself as a "glamorous DJ", regularly performing at private parties of Pushca, Miss Moneypenny's, and Chuff Chuff. In this capacity, he has been announced several times in Russia, playing at the old club XIII, on Halloween at the "Atrium", or at private parties for Moscow oligarchs - in places where there is still demand for energetic tech house and dark disco. During this time, Fierce has managed to become a real Russophile. The best evidence for this is a giant tattoo of "James" done in Cyrillic at a salon in the city of Murmansk.
