Anton Kubikov continues to invite interesting techno musicians from Europe to his parties. John Spring's arrival promises us not only the most relevant techno sounds, but also the long-awaited spring. John Spring (Johannes Mai) is a rising star of the Berlin new wave. With a small number of releases, Mr. Spring instantly entered the charts of DJs with worldwide names such as Steve Bug, Schaffhauser, Michael Mayer, Falko Brocksieper, and others. His music, filled with industrial sounds, buzzing noises, and funky riffs, is somewhat indebted to his native city of Rostock, which is the most industrial place in Germany. Early recordings of Duft-Punk, Aphex Twin, detroit-funkbeats (Underground Resistance), German tech-house (Christian Morgenstern, and others), and Cologne minimalism had a special influence on Johannes. Currently, his tracks are released on labels such as Sub Static, Crosstown Rebels, and he has been noticed for a remix of Golden Boy released on Ladomat. His music is versatile, suitable for both large disco events and small clubs. On March 17th, Anton Kubikov's techno party will take place at the Flegmatichnaya Sobaka internet pub, featuring John Spring, Helga, and Kubikov. Starts at 21:00, entrance fee is 100 rubles.
