Junior Sanchez at Moscow's Fabrique

Junior means young and fast. At the age of fifteen, Junior Sanchez becomes a resident at the Times Square club, with his first vinyl being mixed by Arman Van Helden himself. A rapid career leads to big connections. Shortly after, Junior meets Erick Morillo and works with him at the Double Platinum studio. There, he also becomes friends with Harry Romero, and together they mix tracks like 'One in a Million'. His first solo project 'The Bionic Traxx' is launched in 1996, and within a year he goes on tour with Roger Sanchez and Sneak in the S-Men project. By 1999, his mix 'B with U', made in collaboration with soul-diva Dajae, maintains the Ibiza anthem mark throughout the summer and secures his first entry in the Top 30. Next comes a joint project with Arman Van Helden named Mongoloids, uniting such like-minded producers as Daft Punk, Jacques Lu Cont, Roger Sanchez, Sneak, and Basement Jaxx. Junior collaborates with American house stars like Todd Terry, Felix da Housecat, who greatly influence his musical tastes and experimentation, mixing entirely different tracks from Bon Jovi to disco and soul. Additionally, he extensively uses his Latin American roots, especially in working with basslines, particularly in sampling Armand and Sneak. Currently, Junior divides his time between touring globally and working in the studio. He has just recorded mixes for two tracks: Placebo's 'Bitter End' and 'The Picture'. Moreover, he mentors young musical talents. Junior will visit Moscow after an almost three-year hiatus. New York house has become one of the most interesting and sought-after dance styles, and Junior will be an excellent addition to Fabrique's lineup following Roger Sanchez and Felix Da Housecat. November 12, Fabrique club, 23:00, Junior Sanchez.
