Justice at Mio

The Parisian duo Justice was formed in 2003. It consists of Gaspard Auge (aka The Moustache) and Xavier de Rosnay (aka The Chinese Boy), who met in the kitchen during a party when Gaspard spilled beer on some girl's hair. Soon they came up with the name 'Justice' for their duo, made badges with this word, and only then decided to record their first track together. At another party, Gaspard and Xavier met Pedro Winter. Pedro fell in love with a remix of 'Never be Alone,' listening to it with red wine and cheese. At that time, Gaspard and Xavier were making music in a bedroom on a laptop. The track was supposed to participate in a remix competition, but instead, it went straight to Pedro's office. Pedro's label, 'Ed Banger Records,' released the record, and it quickly entered all the charts and got into the mixes of stars like Erol Alkan, Tiga, 2 Many DJ's, Ivan Smagghe, Mark Moore, Arthur Baker, Miss Kittin, and others. In 2004, 'International Deejay Gigolos'—the legendary label owned by DJ Hell—released the track again with a remix by Hell himself. Finally, it was time to rock dance floors beyond their homeland—Munich, Berlin, Barcelona, Milan, Rome, Vienna, Brussels, London... Soon, 'Justice' started receiving offers to remix tracks for Vicarious Bliss, Scenario Rock, Death From Above 1979, Fatboy Slim, Soulwax, Daft Punk, Mystery Jets... 2005: 'Justice' are preparing to release their second EP called 'Waters of Nazareth,' which is already being played by Laurent Garnier, Erol Alkan, Ivan Smagghe, Trevor Jackson, and others.
