Justice will perform в Madison Square Garden

It seems incredible, but it's a fact - French electro-rockers Justice will perform on March 11 in New York at a venue that accommodates 20,000 people (!). Everyone knows that Justice are popular... but how popular? As much as U2? Or Bruce Springsteen? Although, perhaps to understand the scale of this event, it's easier to imagine Cubikov and Milyutenko with their SCSI-9 project, rocking out on Poklonnaya Hill with their solo material, or the band Dot Dash performing on Red Square...
Just two years ago, only a few knew about the band, certainly not millions. Exploding with the track 'Your Friends,' the band received worthy reviews from music critics and industry magazines, and with the release of their debut album, they elevated their status to unimaginable heights... Largely thanks to the internet: five and a half million views of the D.A.N.C.E. video on YouTube, over four million views of their MySpace page, discussions of the band's work in leading magazines such as the online Resident Advisor and the print The Wire, and terms like nu rave, much of it is because of them.
And what about in the USA? Their album sold forty thousand copies there, which isn't much for a band getting ready to perform at such a legendary venue like Madison Square Garden. However, it must be understood that album sales cannot be an indicator of demand when you can download the album with just one mouse click. Moreover, all the buzz around Justice came from there, from the depths of the worldwide web, so the popularity index is better sought there.
