Kazantip 2001 is On!

Despite the fact that the Z organizers kept the entire global community in complete confusion and uncertainty until the last minute regarding the availability this year of another opportunity to 'get a little tan,' we are happy to announce that such an opportunity will be available to all of us. From August 1 to 20 this time in the village of Mirny, which, according to the organizers, is in close proximity to the well-known city-hero-resort of Evpatoria (Republic of Crimea). The Kazantip website already has all the travel and access maps posted, along with promises of a wonderful time. It is not yet clear what the musical program of the festival will be (sado-maso (=) ). According to unconfirmed information, the Recordsman Records label will once again, as last year, be responsible for organizing performances by Russian musicians; however, there is still complete uncertainty regarding the DJs. On our part, we can say that due to the not very successful organization of the arrival, accommodation, and stay of DJs last year, there is a possibility of the absence of many Moscow representatives of this challenging club profession at the festival. Nevertheless, let's hope for the best (meaning the appearance of a detailed event program). In addition, on August 23, 24, and 25, they promise a continuation of the banquet on the mysterious island of Kazantip, which, judging by the maps, is located not far from the city of Samara.
