Cologne Sound in the City

The City club has taken up the baton of German techno. After a successful performance by members of the Kompakt label in Moscow, another representative of the Cologne sound, Reinhard Voigt, will visit the capital on December 9. He is one of the brightest representatives of the legendary German label Kompakt, a stronghold of the so-called "Cologne" techno scene, releasing melodic techno, sweetened pop ambient, and classic crackling-clicking techno. His works for the Kompakt label, with which he has collaborated since the early 90s, have become the most popular compositions. For example, Voigt released the diverse techno album "Im Wandel Der Zeit" on this record label, and in 2000, he made a name with the ambient album "Premiere World on Profan." The label describes Reinhard as follows: "Plays hard uncompromising techno, with passion and pleasure."
