Compass-Vrubel at 'Sanchez Thursdays'

On November 20, as a special guest at 'Sanchez Thursdays' at Propaganda, the Russian DJ Alexey Chernorot, also known as Compass-Vrubel, will perform. Alexey's main professional qualities that have brought him fame are his non-traditional approach to solving 'everyday' creative tasks, and his versatility as a person who has dedicated his life to music.
Alexey began his career on the electronic music scene in 1993, moving to the capital from St. Petersburg. Over the years, he has established himself as a member of 'Pop Mechanics' (Necrobullet) and a creator of music for films ('Antikiller', 'Dead Daughters'), a resident at the cult clubs 'LSDance' and 'Ptuch', the author of numerous mixes, and the host of radio programs ('Fan' and '23rd Hour'). Add to this his lack of formal musical education, years of touring experience in Russia and abroad, and his passion for poetry, painting, and photography.
Compass-Vrubel's first vinyl single was released in the USA in 1997, and he has two full albums to his name - 'Manjerok' and 'Ovens and Pochen'. Alexey's experiments with sound under the Egofriend project, dedicated to natural disasters and psychiatry, and the video Moscow.Skysky are striking for their freedom of imagination and at the same time – the presence of a concept backed by a great artist.
